Denture Adhesives...

Are your dentures causing problems?

If so, You're not alone...

  • Did you know approximately 20 million Americans weardentures.
  • Did you know approximately 1/3 of Americans over the age of 65 have no teeth, and another 1/3 of Americans over the age of 65 have less than half their natural teeth.
  • At least half of all denture wearers have problems with their dentures.

Implant Dentures: Permanent, Secure Tooth Replacements

Why should you consider dental implants to support your dentures?

Over time, as you wear your denture, you continually lose the boney structure that supports your soft tissues. Because your soft tissues actually make contact with your dentures, they too will start to recede with the bone, this will leave you in a continuous state of adjustment, discomfort, and difficulty with everyday functions like; speaking, chewing, and especially smiling.

  • Implant supported dentures provide tremendous support and fixation so you can comfortably speak, chew, and smile.
  • They keep your upper and lower jaw bone from receding which prevents facial shape changes like the "shrunken" look.

I first heard of denture stabilization implants from my mom's dentist (Rock Hill-based). She asked if there's an alternative to denture creams, and he mentioned something else. Instead of settling for applying adhesives every time her denture becomes loose, my mom's dentist said she can opt for mini implants. She also approached our neighbor's dentist (Tega Cay-based), and she was told the same thing. Since mini implants are much more affordable than dental implants, she didn't hesitate to go for it.
